“May it come from the Hearts”
2017
Plaza de San Isidro
A very chromatically intense mural that breathes the style of the revolutionary propaganda posters. The central form of the composition is a labourer in black ploughing the land at dusk. A fertile land under a yellow, red and black sky. The authors reinforce the scene’s intensity with verses of the famous Miguel Hernández’s poem Child of the Plough.
May it come from the hearts
of labouring men,
who before they are men are
and have been children of the plough.
