Orihuela painter Manoli-ita’s mural reminds us the years that Miguel Hernández spent in prison. She recreates a dark cell, devoid of humanity, with only a pair of shepherd’s shoes on the table. Behind is the solitude and sadness of the poet, placed at the back of the small, gloomy abode.
