“Pluma y tintero” (Quill and Inkpot)

This mural’s artists depicted in black and white Miguel Hernández’s main tools: an inkpot with his initials engraved and a quill with ink drops dripping from its tip. The drops transform into birds, symbols of creative freedom but also the higher thought of a human being’s liberation.
