The students of Virgen de la Puerta School are the authors of this colourful mural. A figure that symbolises Miguel Hernández escapes from serpents that represent the repressive forces that want to retain and prevent him from following his fate in search of love. The painting refers to the beautiful poem Mi sangre es un camino.

Mi sangre es un camino ante el crepúsculo
de apasionado barro y charcos vaporosos
que tiene que acabar en tus entrañas,
un depósito mágico de anillos
que ajustar a tu sangre,
un sembrado de lunas eclipsadas
que han de aumentar sus calabazas íntimas,
ahogadas en un vino con canas en los labios,
al pie de tu cintura al fin sonora.
