“Sopa de letras” (Alphabet soup)

This large size painting fills the wall with the movement of its green and yellow leafs, scattered by the wind. Some have letters as a reference to spring and autumn for the fig tree, the signature tree in the life and work of Miguel Hernández. He saw in it an expression of nature’s and life’s cycles. In the centre, a flat, featureless human figure on an intense burgundy coloured background. Next, a frame full of letters in disarray, represented as the pieces that form the words and with them literary creation.
