On a bright yellow background, the artist has focused his attention on a black area with fuzzy edges. Floating on it, a balanced composition overlapping parts of the poem Take me, Get me, published in the book Songbook and Ballads of Absences. A pale pink flower in the foreground and a portrait of Miguel Hernández in grey tones, gloomy like the gravity of his facial expression. It reflects his imprisonment and the recent death of his son at the time when the poet wrote this (last) work.
