Painting teacher Eva Ruiz and her students from the Redován workshop took inspiration from key elements of Miguel Hernández’s creation in this simple but attractive mural. The light of full Moon floods the scene. Under a bright blue sky on a russet land, three black goats and one white goat graze. These colours are frequent in his poetry, packed with symbolism.

A la luna venidera
te acostarás a parir
y tu vientre irradiará
la claridad sobre mí.

Alborada de tu vientre,
cada vez más claro en sí,
esclareciendo los pozos,
anocheciendo el marfil.

A la luna venidera
el mundo se vuelve a abrir.
